We are seeking an intermediate to advanced Architectural Designer to join our team. Applicants should have 5 or more years of Canadian working experience, plus solid organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills and come with an eagerness to learn.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and draft building plans, while participating in all phases of the project lifecycle.
Coordinate and review architectural and consultant drawings.
Experience with building envelope detailing.
Thorough knowledge of building systems and detailing.
Prepare construction documents for building permit and tender documents.
Prepare and revise site instruction documents and sketches.
Solid knowledge of the Building Code and Land Use Bylaw.
Participate in Construction Administration in order to further your technical development.

QUALIFICATIONS

Masters or Bachelors Degree in Architecture from a Canadian accredited institution or equivalent.
Proficient in PowerCadd (AutoCAD and Revit experience acceptable) and PDF editing software.
Knowledge of Building Codes, drafting and design standards and building structures, with the capability to research effectively.
Understanding of building construction and the value of effective technical documents.
Carefully reviews and evaluates working drawings, structural calculations, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, landscape and hardscape design.
